This depends on which website building platform your website is created.  This is something we will discuss with you during the consultation so you will know what options you have to help you make the best decision for your situation.  The bottom line is that if your site is developed on a platform that allows for the migration of the site design (like WordPress), then you will have the rights to download and migrate your site if you choose.  Some platforms have a design system that is proprietary (like Shopify), so while you will be able to download certain data (like a CSV file of products), the site design itself is non-transferable.  There are many considerations involved when it comes to choosing an appropriate platform – we’ll work with you to determine the best approach for your situation.
